PROGRAM NOTES:

Rebound is for solo cello and delay box.  The delay is precisely one fourth of the tempo of the piece itself.  Thus, for every pitch the cello plays, the delay box plays a series of sixteenth notes.  The result is a precisioned interplay between the cello and the delay, which is easily heard in performance.
